Does the Sony Remote Camera API control HDR modes, ISO, shutter speed, aperture and other "manual" settings? -

i bought sony a7 , blown away incredible pictures takes, interact , automate use of camera using sony remote camera api. consider myself maker , fun stuff: add laser trigger arduino, computer controlled light painting, , long-term (on order of weeks) time-lapse photography. 1 reason purchased sony camera on other models famous brands such canon, nikon, or samsung because of ingenious sony remote camera api. however, after reading through api reference seems many of features cannot accessed. true? know work around?

specifically, interested in changing lot of manual settings can change through menu system on camera such iso, shutter speed, , aperture. interested in taking hdr images in time-lapse manner , nice change setting through api well. if knows, why wasn't api opened whole menu system in first place?

finally, if employee of sony reading make plea: please please please keep supporting remote camera api , improve upon amazing idea! think more control offer makers , developers more popular cameras become. think create cult following if can manage capture imagination of makers across world , 1 cool project go viral on internet. using http , post commands super awesome, because os agnostic , makes communication breeze. did mention awesome?! sony's cameras nicely integrate internet of things.

i think remote camera api strategy better strategies of sony's competitors. nikon , canon have nothing comparable. closest thing samsung gluing android onto galaxy nx, unnecessary cost since people own smart phone; needs exist link allows camera talk phone, sony api. sony gets it. please don't abandon direction taking or remote camera api, because love heading.

thanks!

new api features lens style cameras dsc-qx100 , dsc-qx10 expanded during spring of 2014. shutter speed functionality, white balance, iso settings , more included! check out official announcement here: https://developer.sony.com/2014/02/24/new-cameras-now-support-camera-remote-api-beta-new-api-features-coming-this-spring-to-selected-cameras/
